Design a logo: point, line, ray and angles

                                STOP AND CORRECT THE MISTAKE

Shared by Laura Boal:

A dot on a paper or on a screen give us the idea of what a POINT is. A point indicates a position. To represent point we use a small circle and capital letters. A point has one dimensión.

A LINE is straight (no bends) and formed by infinite points that always follow the same direction, so it has a single dimension. A line extends infinitely in one direction.

A RAY is a "straight" line that begins at a certain point and extends infinitely in one direction. The ray has two endpoint, which marks the position from where it begins.

In an ANGLE we can observe one vertex and two segments which are called sides or arms.
Acute angles measure more than 90 degrees. Right angles measure 90 degrees. Obtuse angles measure less than 90 degrees.
A Straight angle or a half turn is always 180 °. Reflex is the next largest measuring more than 180° but less than 360°. We then have a full rotation or full circle at 380°.
Adjacent angles are the ones next to each other while vertical angles are opposite from each other.

ESTIMATING ANGLES

You must say ‘stop’ when you think you have an angle with the measure they want.

SOLUTION

A dot on a paper or on a screen give us the idea of what a POINT is. A point indicates a position. To represent point we use a small circle and capital letters. A point has NO dimensión.

A LINE is straight (no bends) and formed by infinite points that always follow the same direction, so it has a single dimension. A line extends infinitely in TWO directionS.

A RAY is a "straight" line that begins at a certain point and extends infinitely in one direction. The ray has ONE endpoint, which marks the position from where it begins.

In an ANGLE we can observe one vertex and two RAYS which are called sides or arms.

Acute angles measure LESS than 90 degrees. Right angles measure 90 degrees. Obtuse angles measure MORE than 90 degrees.

A Straight angle or a half turn is always 180º. Reflex is the next largest measuring more than 180° but less than 360°. We then have a full rotation or full circle at 360°.

Adjacent angles are the ones next to each other while vertical angles are opposite from each other.
